At the CCBC Cabinet meeting 13 December 2011, the draft Strategy for Modernising Conwy's Library Service was approved, please see Library Modernisation.

Penmaenmawr now has a community library, as the building was transferred to the local Community Support Group in September.

They have now utilised grant money to improve the building and it was re-opened on Tuesday, November 25th. Further information in relation to an official launch of the new resource will follow in due course.
