What is the Conwy Card?

Cerdyn Conwy Card

The Conwy Card can be used by Conwy residents to obtain up to 20% discount offers at participating tourist and outdoor activity attractions.

The scheme began in July 2013, for a trial period of 12 months. Due to popular demand, the scheme is now continuing into 2015.

How can I get a Conwy Card?

When the scheme first launched, all Conwy households were sent a Conwy Card in the post with their Council Tax documentation.

If you receive your Council Tax reminder by email, please print off your e-billing statement and take it to any Conwy Library or Tourist Information Centre, where you can collect your new Conwy Card.

Great Orme Tramway

The Great Orme Tramway is the UK’s only cable-hauled tramway still in operation, and it has been a hit with visitors since it opened over 100 years ago. Original Victorian tramcars have been lovingly restored so this Llandudno institution can continue making its journey to the summit to the Great Orme.

St. John’s Methodist Church: Choir Concerts

Conwy Castle

Conwy Castle was built for English King Edward I between 1283 and 1287 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Climb one of the eight massive towers for the best views of our beautiful estuary and look out for the castle after dark, when it’s all lit up, it’s magical.

Plas Mawr

Probably the best preserved Elizabethan town house in Britain and definitely Conwy’s grandest residence, Plas Mawr (meaning Great Hall) was built between 1576 and 1585 by wealthy trader Robert Wynn. Inside it’s packed to the rafters with ornamental plasterwork and original furnishings.
