Bus Passes
Free Bus passes are available to Conwy residents who fall into any of the following groups:
- Women over 60/Men over 60 - Free travel on local buses throughout Wales, with a pass.
- Blind/Deaf people - Free travel on local buses throughout Wales, with a pass.
- Disabled people - Free travel on local buses throughout Wales, with a pass.
Bus passes give free travel on most local buses in Wales, also certain destinations outside of Wales, such as Chester on through services from Flintshire.
Please note that we do not issue bus passes over the counter, bus passes are dealt with through the post. Application forms for concessionary passes can be obtained from Libraries
Senior Citizen Railcards
Senior Citizen Railcards are available to anyone over the age of 60. They entitle the railcard holder to a third off most rail fares throughout Britain, although there may be some time restrictions.
Senior Citizen Railcards can be bought from most railway stations at a cost of £26.
Senior Citizen Railcards are also sold to Conwy residents on behalf of the public transport section by Conwy Library, Information and Archive Service at a cost of £24. In order to purchase a railcard from the library you will need to be a Conwy resident aged 60 or over and provide proof of age with the application form.
