The Centre opened in September 2003 funded by WAG, Heritage Lottery Fund, CADW and WDA.
It is a Grade 2 listed building of great historical importance- the LEA and the Seaside Buildings Preservation Trust worked together to secure funding to renovate the building in keeping with the original Victorian Exterior.
Head of Early Education Services 3 - 7 years, Line manages the staff in the centre.

Childcare provision in the centre
Early Education for 3 years olds is provided by the voluntary School Lane Playgroup (WPPA) There are over 70, 2-3 year olds registered with the group.

EYDCP Training Coordinator
Provides and coordinates a broad spectrum of training events aimed at raising standards of childcare provision in Conwy.
The centre has a large training room available for all types of training. It is also used extensively for partnership meetings, the education department and social services department. For details of how to book the meeting room contact the centre reception on 01492 577850.

Toy Library
Facility managed by the Conwy Early Years Forum. The Toy Library is housed in the centre and provides a mobile library van that delivers toys to pre school settings throughout the county.
