Dog Fouling

Dog Fouling

We are concerned about dog fouling on footpaths and open land.

All dog owners who allow their dogs to foul should clear up afterwards.

The Authority has many dog bins in parks and around the Borough.

Dog Wardens patrol the street to seize stray dogs.

There are “no fouling” signs throughout the borough to remind dog owners to clean up after their dogs.

We will issue a £75.00 fixed penalty notices to dog owners who do not clear up after their dogs, should they foul.  It is not an excuse if your dog fouls whilst it is straying.  Persistent offenders can be fined up to £1,000.

Should you wish to contact us please ring: 01492 575279 or e-mail public.protection@conwy.gov.uk.
