Memorial Benches

Conwy's Parks, Green Spaces and Seafront are beautiful places to sit and relax or spend time with your family. Donating a memorial bench is a great way to remember a loved one or celebrate a special occasion. More information and an online form can be found in this section.

We offer 2 styles of bench in a variety of locations within our Parks and Green Spaces.  Ripon Seats for roadsides and open spaces and Rawcliffe Seats for selected ornamental areas.

Prices vary depending on the style of bench and installation requirements but costs are in the region of £700 and include purchase and installation.  Exact costs can be discussed further with a member of staff following completion of an application.

An engraved stainless steel plaque (7"x2") with wording of your choice can be mounted on the bench.

Once we receive your application, we will contact you within 10 working days to agree the exact location for the bench and wording for the plaque.

If you would like to donate a memorial bench, please fill in our online application form. A member of staff will then contact you to process your application.

Benches can also be donated on the many promenades along the coast of Conwy, the style of bench available here depends on the location.  For more information about benches on our promenades, please contact Conwy County Borough Council's Harbour Master 01492 596253 or e-mail
