Penmaenmawr Wheeled Play Area

Developed as part of 2002/03 work programme, the new wheeled play area in Penmaenmawr opened at the start of April 2003.

Work only started at the site on Penmaenmawr promenade during March 2003 but the construction was completed very quickly. It is already proving to be a very popular spot.

The building of the park was funded by a partnership of the following:

  • The Sports Council for Wales
  • Penmaenmawr Town Council
  • Conwy County Borough Council
  • Local Members
  • Play 4 Pen
  • Skate to Create ("Sk8 2 Cre8")
  • Welsh Assembly Play Grant
Penmaenmawr Wheeled Play area is already attracting local people.
