If you are experiencing noise from a neighbours dog, where possible try and discuss the problem with them. They may not be aware their dog is barking and of the effects of the noise. This will often sort the matter out and also help maintain good neighbour relations.

If this does not resolve the problem or you feel you cannot approach your neighbour, then you should contact us to discuss the complaint on your behalf. We will initially contact the owner to inform them of the complaint and give advice where necessary on the possible controls/prevention of dogs barking. In law a barking dog can be noise nuisance.
