Morfa Conwy is an area of dunes to the west of Conwy with fine views of the Great Orme and Conwy Mountain. Attractive flowers such as sea holly and sea bindweed are on show in the summer. It is also home to the rare belted beauty moth, for which part of the site has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The sandhill rustic moth has also been found here. The adjoining Conwy Bay is a site of European importance for its marine wildlife.
