Conwy offers an exciting variety of fitness classes that suit the needs of our entire community, from the complete beginner and those that like to take it at a slightly less intense pace, to the very fit and adventurous exerciser (have you tried our Metabolic Effect Class?!)

Our partnership with Les Mills has seen us introduce the World renowned class ‘BodyPump’ to our fitness schedule and we hope to keep introducing you to many more classes in the future, meaning you will be sure to find a class that you enjoy so much you won’t even realise you’re exercising!

Absolute Abs The ultimate abdominal workout! Flatten and tone your stomach with this fantastic abdominal workout.
Aqua Aerobics This low impact pool workout gets you fit and toned. Work as hard or as easy as you want while going easy on the joints.
Barbell Conditioning This challenging muscular endurance class incorporates exercises such as squats, presses and pulls using barbells.
Body Conditioning A varied, whole body muscular strength and endurance workout done in time with the music. May include Hiit Intervals, legs, bums and tums and core work. Recommended for all fitness levels.
BodyPump Bodypump classes are 60 minutes long and contain 10 songs specifically designed to work on muscle groups. The classes are performed to music using free weight plates, Barbells and steps. Participants choose their weights based on the exercise and their personal goals. Major muscle groups are worked via series of compound and isolation-based exercises including squats, presses and deadlifts.
Chair Aerobics Chair based exercise sessions ideal for older or less able people of any age. They are fun and enjoyable group exercise sessions set to music and aim to improve mobility, balance, strength and flexibility.
Circuit Training Total body workout where you can work at your own pace. This session gets your heart rate up and strengthens your muscles with a motivating workout. You will move quickly through various stations and exercises.
Easyline An instructor run class using portable gym equipment. The class runs for an hour with steps and/or little hand weights incorporated into it. It gives a light hearted full body work out with supervision and music. This class must be booked in advance. 
Fit Ball Improve posture, balance and core strength through using a large instability ball.
Grit Get ready to add HIIT workouts to your life with our three unique LES MILLS GRIT workouts and take your fitness to the next level. These HIIT workouts build cardiovascular fitness while improving strength, building lean muscle and maximizing calorie burn.
Indoor Cycling A highly effective cardio workout. In one 45 minute class you'll ride a stationary bike to the beat of awesome music - and burn up to 600 calories. Indoor cycling is low impact and we have 30 minute classes for beginners.
Kettlebells A total body workout that combines power and strength to build stamina and total body strength. Help strengthen your core and improve posture, while burning calories. The beauty of the Kettlebell is it works many different muscle groups within a single workout. You take the workout at your own pace and weight level so it is perfect for any age and ability. 
Kinesis This is a 30 minute class with four cable stations, with one person on each, run by an instructor. On each station there are 5 exercises. An excellent way of having a quick full body workout, by using the weight stack this class can be very easy to very hard. This class must be booked in advance.
Metabolic Effect ME focuses high intensity interval exercise, sports conditioning drills, total body weight training and full fatigue effort. In these classes you exercise at your own level working until you require rest and then restarting the workout whenever you're ready. This technique, known as Rest Based Trraining, generates a workout intensity perfectly suited to the individual. 
Nordic Walking A social outdoor walking group. Nordic walking is a total body version of walking that can be enjoyed both by non-athletes as a health promoting physical activity, and by athletes as a sport. The activity is performed with specially designed walking poles similar to ski poles. 
Pilates Great for improving posture, balance and core strength. 
Swim Fit Catering for a number of different abilities, participants should be able to swim a minimum of 200 metres front crawl.
Step Conditioning A traditional style of training, with high impact aerobic movements, choreography and exercises, based around a step, following simple routines to great sounds. Work your whole body, elevate your heart rate and improve your co-ordination with a complete cardio workout. For more of a challenge, add height to the step.
STRONG by Zumba STRONG by Zumba combines high intensity interval training with a science of Synced Music Motivation. In every class, music and moves sync in a way that pushes you past your perceived limits, to reach your fitness goals faster.
Yoga Increase your strength and flexibility through movement, posture and breathing control.
Zumba Fitness Loaded with Latin rhythms and easy to follow routines, this dance-fitness party will have you moving, shaking and grooving. 
Zumba Step Zumba Step gives the same infectious beats and hot salsa shimmy as Zumba but with added emphasis on the lower body. Tone legs and sculpt glutes in easy-to-follow moves with a fiery blast of South American rhythm. Mix dance, fitness and sultry aerobics to shape your body and lift your spirits.
