Indoor Climbing is not only fun and challenging but is also great for developing and improving your physical fitness, strength and balance.
When performed in groups it helps to increase confidence as well as build trust and improve team work skills. If you or your child want to experience the excitement of climbing why not sign up for our ever popular climbing club?*
Children's Club Sessions
- Our sessions for younger children (5 - 8 year olds) aim to give children a fun climbing experience rather than a formal training session.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at a ratio of 1:2
- Our adult sessions aim to teach the basics and give participants the confidence to use indoor climbing walls.
- Our Introduction to Leading Course offers climbers the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to lead groups of climbers.
There is no need to purchase specialist equipment or clothes as all the necessary items are provided by us.
Loose fitting clothes such as a tracksuit (trousers rather than shorts to avoid grazed knees) and a t-shirt is ideal.
We will, where possible provide climbing shoes, however please wear trainers which are efficient enough for beginners.
*All climbers must complete a registration form prior to using the wall.
All children / young people aged under 18 must have their registration form signed by a parent or guardian.
