start content

Undertaking some form of regular exercise can be very effective in treating and preventing a large number of health conditions.

The National Exercise Referral Scheme seeks to help people who have a pre-existing health condition, or who are at risk of developing one in the future, by offering a comprehensive programme of physical activity which is tailored to meet the needs and abilities of the individual client.

As well as the above, our scheme also offers the following specialist exercise pathways:

  • Falls Prevention
  • Phase IV Cardiac Rehabilitation
  • Respiratory conditions
  • Cancer
  • Memory problems

For more information please contact your local GP, or Paul Francis, Exercise Referral Co-ordinator on 01492 577911 / 577900.
