AquaPlay

  • Available at Abergele, Colwyn, Llanrwst
  • These classes are a fun activity for adult and baby / toddler that are led by our qualified swimming teachers.
  • Teacher in the water with parent and child
  • Toys to play with
  • Play games, sing songs and gain water confidence
  • Need to wear swim nappy

Rookie Lifeguard

  • Available at all pools
  • Rookie sessions offer the opportunity to learn some lifesaving skills including rescues and resuscitation techniques.

Aqua Aerobics

  • Available at all pools
  • These sessions are a water based exercise class that provides a full body workout. Classes are advertised on our fitness class timetables.

SwimFit

  • Available at all pools.
  • These sessions are instructed by our fully qualified swimming teachers and coaches and provide swim training sessions for adults and juniors.

Water Polo

  • Available at Llanrwst pool.
  • Llanrwst Water Polo Club provides weekly water polo sessions at Llanrwst Swimming Pool. 

Triathlon Clubs

Swimming Clubs and Performance Squad

  • Conwy County Aquatics incorporates Colwyn Bay and Llandudno Swimming Clubs.
  • Training sessions are also available at Abergele leisure centre.
  • Swimmers can join swimming club sessions once they have completed Aqua Passport wave 7 and can remain in the club sessions until they achieve the required standard to transfer into the Performance Squad.

Disabled Swimming

  • Conwy County Borough Council offers free access for disabled that meet the criteria for the Disability Ffit Card.
  • The county is also home to Conwy Whales Swimming Club which offers bi-weekly sessions for disabled children.
