There is no right of appeal against the decision other than to the Secretary of State within 28 days of the date of the reject letter. The decision to issue or not issue a badge rests solely with the local authority.
A copy of the re-assessment procedure is sent out to all applicants who are unsuccessful. A re-assessment can be considered if there is significant additional medical information available which affects mobility and was not contained within the original information.
