The Registration Service deals with the registration of Birth, Marriage and Death. In addition, to help you celebrate other special occasions in your life we also offer Naming Ceremonies, Renewal of Vows, Citizenship Ceremonies, Civil Partnership Ceremonies and Family History research.

The Licensing service is responsible for the naming and numbering of streets and buildings within the County Borough area.

In the County Borough of Conwy there are two regular Street Markets operated by the Licensing Service. These are in Colwyn Bay and Llanwrst. For information about these markets and how to contact us, please browse this section.

Sections 12-16 of the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 provides local authorities with an adoptive power to restrict anti-social drinking in designated public places.
