Public Protection Services

We provide regulatory and advisory services aimed at enhancing the quality of life for people living, working or visiting Conwy.

Officers provide advice and take enforcement action on matters relating to food safety, health and safety, pollution, environmental control, dog warden, pest control, trading standards and consumer advice.

In addition we are responsible for developing, maintaining and operating the town centre CCTV system. Officers within the department are also working in partnership to develop Community Safety, Public Health and other initiatives aimed at preventing or reducing crime and anti-social behaviour and raising the health of the community.
