The Legal Section provides a legal service to the Council. We aim to provide a responsive, cost effective Legal Service and advice of the highest quality to the Council, it’s Committees and Directorates and other public bodies and clients.
The Section was amongst the first in the country to be awarded the Law Society’s LEXCEL Accreditation and has maintained that accreditation every year since 1999.
The Section is also accredited under the Investors In People (IIP) Scheme.
