However, the Council, as a Local Housing Authority, still remains responsible for the coordination of housing and housing related activity across the county borough and has a statutory duty to help people who are either homeless or threatened with homelessness.
From 30th June 2014, all homelessness and homeless prevention services, and housing allocations for Cartrefi Conwy properties will be delivered by Conwy Housing Solutions, 41 Conwy Road, Colwyn Bay, LL29 7AA.
All other housing related services will continue to be provided by Conwy's Regulatory and Housing Services Department, Civic Offices, Abergele Road, Old Colwyn, LL29 8AR.
Our housing officers will help you with any housing-related problems, including help to find accommodation.
Funded by Welsh Government, the purpose of the scheme is to provide interest-free short to medium term loans to help eligible owner occupiers, landlords and third sector organisations to improve the condition of residential property.
From the 23 November 2015, the Act will introduce new obligations on landlords and agents. If you own or manage a house in Wales, occupied by someone other than yourself in return for a rent, this new law will almost certainly apply to you.
