Housing Services

Housing Services

Conwy County Borough Council is no longer a social landlord and it does not own any council houses, flats or sheltered housing complexes.

Applying for Social Housing | Affordable Housing | Anti-social behaviour | Housing Enforcement | Mortgage Rescue | Information for Landlords | Housing Improvements | Local Housing Strategy

All social housing in Conwy is now provided by housing associations (registered social landlords).

However, the Council, as a Local Housing Authority, still remains responsible for the coordination of housing and housing related activity across the county borough and has a statutory duty to help people who are either homeless or threatened with homelessness.

From 30th June 2014, all homelessness and homeless prevention services, and housing allocations for Cartrefi Conwy properties will be delivered by Conwy Housing Solutions, 41 Conwy Road, Colwyn Bay, LL29 7AA.

All other housing related services will continue to be provided by Conwy's Regulatory and Housing Services Department, Civic Offices, Abergele Road, Old Colwyn, LL29 8AR.

Our housing officers will help you with any housing-related problems, including help to find accommodation.
