Conwy Local Development Plan - **Important Progress Update**
The Conwy LDP has reached the Deposit stage in its preparation. The next step is to submit the Plan to the Welsh Government and the Planning Inspector for Examination in Public. However, following the recommendations made at a Council meeting on 23rd February 2012, further evidence base work is to be undertaken prior to submission of the Plan. As a result of the delay, it is now necessary to-up-date the timetable for preparation of the Conwy LDP (this is known as the LDP Delivery Agreement). The Delivery Agreement not only details the timetable for preparation of the Plan but also sets out how the public can get involved in its preparation.
The revised timetable in the Delivery Agreement will be made available for public viewing shortly following agreement with the Welsh Government.

Conwy Local Development Plan (Revised Deposit 2011)
The Conwy Local Development Plan (LDP) Revised Deposit was published for public consultation between 14th March and 26th April 2011. A total of 14,000 comments were made during this consultation and the consultation undertaken on the original Deposit LDP which was published in 2009. Many of these comments relate to potential development sites. The next stage in the LDP process is to consult with the public on the site specific comments that have been made. The consultation period for this begins on 28th November 2011 and finishes at 4:45pm on 13th January 2012. A Register of Site Allocation Representations has been produced containing maps of site and details of the representations made.
