On 29th September 2008, Conwy County Borough Council transferred its housing stock to a newly formed Housing Association known as Cartrefi Conwy.
From then, Cartrefi Conwy will provide many services to its customers which were previously provided by the Council.
These include:
- managing and maintaining its housing stock, including:
-
- rent collection and recovery of rent arrears
- tenant disputes
- anti-social behaviour on its estates
- repairs and the Day-to-Day Repairs Service (01492 806040)
- ensuring that tenants keep to their conditions of tenancy
- community development and tenant participation
- keeping a housing waiting list
- selecting tenants for empty Cartrefi Conwy properties from their waiting list or the Council's waiting list
- leaseholder arrangements - for certain people who have bought their home under the Right to Buy and Right to Acquire
- complaints about Cartrefi Conwy services
More information about the services provided by Cartrefi Conwy can be found on www.cartreficonwy.org
Although the Council no longer has properties to rent, it still provides a range of housing services. More information about these can be found in the sections below.
