Social Services

Adult reading to two children

The Social Services Department is part of Conwy County Borough Council. Our job is to make sure that vulnerable people in Conwy get help, care and support.

We provide social care to help people to live more independently. We work with adults and children who use our services, their families and carers, staff and other organisations to make sure our services are the best they can be. We work jointly with colleagues in the health authority in order to provide a co-ordinated service.

In line with our commitment to ensure our services are accessible and equitable, customers with hearing or speech impairments, who have a text phone, can get in touch with any Council service by dialling 18001 before the full telephone number.  A BT operator will act as an intermediary, relaying the call between the customer and the council officer.  There is no additional cost to use this service.

If you are concerned about the safety or welfare of a child please see THIS PAGE.

You can find out contact details for our different services and the teams that run those services by clicking on the 'Contact Us' link which is shown on the left hand side of all the Social Services webpages.
