Biodiversity

Biodiversity is the incredible variety of life on earth - all living things including us!

Information about Conwy's Local Biodiversity Action Plan, and about our Ecological Services.

This is what until a few years ago was more commonly referred to as Nature Conservation or Wildlife Conservation. The term Biodiversity is now more commonly used. Biodiversity means the variety of life and its interdependence, of both plants and animals, large and small.

These pages describe the involvement of the Countryside and Rights of Way Service in Biodiversity initiatives, why they are important and how you can help; also biodiversity events.
