Did you know that children can get rewards for joining the library? The Bookstart Book Crawl is a fantastic reward scheme for children 0-4 years that aims to encourage parents and carers to bring their under 4's to the library and become library members.

Bookstart is a national programme which aims to provide a free pack of books to every baby in the UK, to inspire, stimulate and create a love of reading that will give children a flying start in life...

A library wouldn't be a library without books, and we've got stacks of them for children, over 37,500 children's books, DVDs, music and story CDs in our libraries. From baby books and picture books, to graphic novels, and teenage fiction, we have books to help you live your life and books to help you imagine another…

We welcome babies and toddlers even the noisy ones! We understand that babies and toddlers are noisy and sometimes messy, don’t worry we love to see young children enjoying their visit to the library, and they can join straight away – the sooner the better.

As well as all the great books, DVDs, music and story CDs to borrow, you'll find that Conwy libraries run lots of events and activities for children, including our popular story times for the under 5s

There is no age limit for joining the Library, and it’s FREE!

How can your local library help you?

You can use library computers for work or fun – and it’s FREE! You will need to be a member of the library and if you’re under 16 your parent or guardian will need to sign the form on your behalf...
