Housing Benefits and Council Tax Reductions

Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction is designed to help people on a low income to pay their Rent and/or Council Tax. Anybody who pays rent or Council Tax can claim these benefits. These include; pensioners, sick or unemployed people and single parents. You may also qualify for assistance even if you work and your income is below a certain level.
