As a public organisation it is important we account for what we do.

Please browse the pages in this section to find out more about how we spend and manage our budgets, and to learn how our auditors think we perform.

We can also provide copies of the other management documents we use to support our financial decision making, such as

the annual operational plans that each service produces and our corporate plan delivery scheme;
our risk assessment templates; and
the project initiation documents we produce for each major project.

We have not put these documents on the website, because they are working documents that are constantly being updated and can quickly become out-of-date. Please contact us if you would like a copy of the latest versions of these documents, or if you require any further information.

Conwy County Borough Council - Annual Report 2010-11

As part of our continuous improvement, Conwy County Borough Council publishes a report (The Annual Report) every year to explain what has been done to make improvements during the previous financial year, and where we need to make further improvements. This is a requirement under the Local Government Act 1999.

External inspection and regulation

Corporate Assessment and Annual Improvement Reports

Reports from the Welsh Audit Office about how the Council has approached improvement over time and giving analysis of the Council's arrangements to help it improve.

Performance reports

Corporate Performance Reports are produced twice annually, and provide a summary of the progress that has been made by the Authority in achieving the key Corporate and Service objectives.
