Mental Health Services

Mental Health

These pages are intended to help you find the information or help you need in relation to Mental Health issues. We will try to direct you to sources of help, information about services or just information you might like to know about the services we offer.

We are grateful for the advice and suggestions of service users and carers on the content of these pages.

The Local Authority is currently working with the Local Health Board to implement the new Mental Health Measures which will enhance the provision of the primary care mental health service and, improve the service and rights of those individuals receiving services from our mental health teams.

We appreciate that sometimes people will feel distressed or very unhappy and would urge you to make direct contact with the services we outline.  We believe that talking about a problem or being listened to can actively help people to feel better or to help get issues into perspective.
