Comments will only be accepted by the Council in direct relation to the comments detailed in this register.
For example, if a site appears in this register and has been suggested as an alternative site to one that has been allocated in the LDP, then you can say whether you agree with this representation, or disagree.
During both LDP consultation stages on the Deposit LDP a number of comments were made about the proposed LDP allocations (sites for development) including suggestions to amend or delete sites. In addition, a number of new alternative sites have been suggested by developers/landowners/members of the public for development consideration. In accordance with the above Regulations, the Council is now consulting on these representations. A Register of Site Allocation Representations has been produced for this purpose. This document, which is split into settlement areas in alphabetical order includes sites submitted during the 2009 consultation on the Deposit LDP as well as those received during the 2011 consultation.
To view the Register, please look below under more in this section for the location you are interested in.
If having viewed the register you wish to make comments, please click on 'Making Comments on Site Allocation Representations' below.
The consultation period on this document starts on Monday 28th November 2011 and finishes on Friday 13th January 2012 at 4.45pm.
The Register of Site Allocation Representations does not reflect the position of the Council itself. It has yet to decide whether it is in favour of any of these suggested changes. Please note that comments should be made in relation to the site allocation representations received. The consultation does not represent a further opportunity to comment on the LDP. Further comments on the LDP will not be accepted.
What happens following this consultation period?
At the end of this 7 week consultation period, all duly made representations to the Site Allocation Representations will be compiled into a report which will be available for public viewing.
The Council will consider all duly made previous comments submitted to the Plan along with the results of this Site Allocation Representations consultation before proposing amendments to the LDP.
A 'focussed changes' document will be presented to Council in early 2012 proposing changes prior to submitting the LDP for Examination in Public in mid 2012. This will include a list of changes that officers consider should be made to the Plan. A Planning Inspector appointed by the Welsh Government will examine the LDP, focussed changes and supporting evidence base and make a decision as to whether he/she considers the plan to be sound. If the Inspector decides that further changes are needed to make the plan sound then these would need to be incorporated before the Council adopts the plan.
