As a result of the new emergency support packages, the Welsh Government is withdrawing its £35m Business Support Fund, announced in November, in order to process emergency payments as soon as possible.

The new emergency support packages will go live mid January 2022. Full guidance will be available at that time.

As announced by the Minister for Economy Vaughan Gething Welsh Government have made a 35 million pound grant fund available to all Local Authorities across Wales.

Conwy County Borough Council will deliver this funding through the Conwy Business Development Grant. This is a discretionary grant to support the economic development of Conwy businesses, social enterprises or farm diversification projects.

To be eligible to receive investment support, businesses must be located in the County of Conwy, have been actively trading over 6 months and registered with HMRC.

The scheme offers funding of up to 50% on eligible capital and/or revenue expenditure for projects with awards offered from £3,000 up to £50,000.
