We’re good at spotting and developing talent at Conwy. In fact, a number of our employees have developed their careers, following successful work placements.

We’re passionate about progression and will work with you to achieve your goals. We do this through a range of opportunities listed in our Learning & Development Plan. Academic and professional qualifications are supported where appropriate.

Development could also be through half or full day events or through completing some online learning.  There are opportunities for refreshing your training as well as opportunities for new learning.

We encourage our staff to take the time to keep their skill set current and appropriate.

We want you to be proud to work for Conwy, and to love what you do. Our aim is to support and invest in you, so that you get the most out of your working day and make your contribution to the success of Conwy.

We strive to be an employer of choice by providing a range of benefits for our employees, access to learning is just one of them.

Our comprehensive learning and development plan includes a range of learning opportunities. It’s aligned with our Corporate Plan, which helps you recognise where you’re learning contributes to the delivery of our vision and values.

Staff training and development is nurtured from day one and is continuously ongoing.
