In just over a year I progressed to Information Systems Analyst alongside starting a BSc Degree based apprenticeship in Applied Cyber Security, which Conwy both fund and support through work based study time.

Meet Glyn - Carpenter and Response Team LeaderI began working in the Open Spaces team assisting with grave digging and burial duties. With Conwy’s support, I applied for a trade position as a Carpenter, working on small building repairs and maintenance within schools, libraries and depots. I’m now the Response Team Leader. I enjoy helping my team flourish and develop their skills and hopefully they’ll become senior staff themselves someday.

As they got older, I moved from relief cover into part-time work and have been on courses to help me develop in my role.
