In just over a year I progressed to Information Systems Analyst alongside starting a BSc Degree based apprenticeship in Applied Cyber Security, which Conwy both fund and support through work based study time.

glynMeet Glyn - Carpenter and Response Team LeaderI began working in the Open Spaces team assisting with grave digging and burial duties. With Conwy’s support, I applied for a trade position as a Carpenter, working on small building repairs and maintenance within schools, libraries and depots. I’m now the Response Team Leader. I enjoy helping my team flourish and develop their skills and hopefully they’ll become senior staff themselves someday.



Can Conwy support me by being flexible?

judithMeet Judith - Library AssistantI joined Conwy’s as a Relief Library Assistant. The job was perfect for me as I had children in school. As they got older, I moved from relief cover into part-time work and have been on courses to help me develop in my role. I’ve recently been promoted to Senior Library Assistant and have been given the opportunity to study part-time for a foundation degree in Library and Information Management.
