We are a bilingual authority, which strives to offer a language choice.
Within Conwy, we define Welsh language skills in following three categories:
- Listening and speaking
- Reading
- Understanding and writing
When completing an application, use the online tool to assess which level describes your Welsh language ability. This will help you decide if the job is right for you right now.
We offer opportunities to all staff to learn and practise speaking Welsh and consider applicants who aim to improve their skills.
We also have an excellent Translation Unit to support our workforce.
