The area profile pages bring together the key results from the Census – for wards (electoral divisions), community council areas and comparative areas.

Microsoft Excel files containing more detailed information for wards, community council areas, Conwy County Borough, Wales, and England & Wales, are attached to the other pages as follows:-

  • People - usual resident population; age structure; ethnic group; national identity; country of birth; passports held; the Welsh language; religion; health and provision of unpaid care; length of residence in UK
  • Work - economic activity; industry of employment; occupation groups; hours worked; qualifications and students; method of travel to work; and National Statistics socio-economic classifications
  • Households and living arrangements - household composition; living arrangements; marital & civil partnership status; lone parents with dependent children; dependent children & adult employment; communal establishments; and household language
