We are working with North Wales Tourism to give Conwy County businesses a platform to promote themselves. And it’s the perfect opportunity for everyone to be reminded what’s on their doorstep.
We’re reminding you the residents of Conwy County to be a local visitor; enjoy eating, staying, shopping and adventure within #yourhomeyourcounty
Visit local attractions. Take a break in a local hotel or guest house, self-catering cottage or holiday park, or glamping.
Enjoy a spa/leisure facility, play a round of golf. Indulge in coffee and cake or a meal, so much choice. And shop local, for gifts as well as the essentials.
Cllr Sam Rowlands, Leader of Conwy County Borough Council said “Conwy County businesses need local support more than ever, and it’s a great time for us as Conwy residents to rediscover our home, our county. Conwy County has so much to offer, throughout the year.
“2020 hasn’t been a great year for many which is why we need to support each other more than ever. Conwy Council staff have and continue to work with businesses to ensure they are open for visitors in a safe and enjoyable way. Please help us to help each other by shopping local and being a local visitor”
Around 12,000 jobs in Conwy County are supported through tourism. The economic impact of tourism is worth almost £1bn per year to Conwy County.
