The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of Positive Behaviour Management within the Early Years Sector. This course will be delivered in 2 parts as a face- to face course held at Old School Lane Centre.

This course is aimed  for those who wish to acquire more positive ways of managing children’s behaviour both prosocial and antisocial.

Course Content:

Part 1:

  • A very brief overview of general psychology
  • A very brief overview of behavioural psychology

Part 2:
  • Opportunity to look at current scenarios to practice assessing the behaviour and applying relevant Strategies.
  • Discuss case studies.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
  • Describe the  main ways in which children learn behaviour
  • Describe  ways in which good behaviour can be encouraged
  • Describe a way in which unacceptable behaviour can be discouraged or controlled
