Online grooming prevention campaign

The Welsh Government has teamed up with the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) to launch an online grooming prevention campaign on Hwb during Safeguarding week. This is in response to an increase in children being groomed, deceived or extorted into sharing a sexual image or video of themselves.  The campaign aims to empower children and young people to spot the signs of online grooming and exploitation, and to warn their parents and carers about this threat, which can often occur in plain sight, on popular platforms and apps.
