Officers from Public Protection are currently working with Conwy Businesses, other agencies and partners to ensure that they keep up to date with Government Regulations aimed at keeping residents safe and helping to prevent the spread of Covid 19.
You can still log your complaint, we apologise in advance as this additional work will unfortunately, for the next few months, result in some timescales in processing and dealing with your complaint being delayed.

If you would like to take a stand against dog fouling in your community, report offenders to the Environmental Enforcement Team at Conwy County Borough Council, providing as much of the following information as possible:

  • The times that offences are being committed
  • The locations where the offences are being committed
  • A description of the dog
  • A description of the owner or person responsible
  • If the dog owner is using a car, a description of the car and the number plate

These details will be used by Environmental Enforcement Officers to target their patrols more effectively, so the more information you provide, the more likely it is the offenders will be caught.

Dog fouling hotspots

Dog fouling hotspots are areas that are subject to increased enforcement activity whilst providing a visible enforcement presence to deter offences from taking place.

In dog fouling hotspots specific signage will be erected to alert dog owners of the areas status and to appeal to residents of the area to report those responsible for the disgusting offence.
