An Environmental Activity Walk with Country Park Staff

The walk provides an exciting and educational day out for schools. Your group will be given the opportunity to explore and learn about the Great Orme, its wildlife, geology and history. They will also be able to see firsthand the impact people have on the countryside and explore ways in which we can all help to conserve our environment. If you wish, a classroom is also available for follow-up work (or in bad weather) ideally suited for groups of up to 30 children.

Many of the topics covered relate well to the National Curriculum Key Stage 2, particularly History, Geography and Science. However, the day out can easily be adapted to benefit children of all ages.

Guided Walks for 'A' Level, College and University Students

A guided walk with the Country Park staff can provide an insight in to the practicalities of Countryside, Recreation and Heritage Management. It is particularly suited to students of the following subjects:

  • Environmental Studies/Science
  •  Heritage Management
  •  Countryside/Rural Resource Management
