Are all leisure centres having to close and if yes, when?

Yes all leisure centres are closing as of Friday 23rd October 2020 at 18.00. Dyffryn Conwy Leisure Centre and John Bright Leisure Centre will close at the end of Thursday 22nd October 2020.

How long will the centres be closed for?

The leisure centres will be closed from 18.00 on Friday 23rd October and will re-open on Monday 9th November.

Is it just indoor leisure facilities that are closed or outdoor as well?

All leisure facilities have to close, both indoor and outdoor. These facilities include:

  • All leisure centres, including fitness suites, fitness classes and swimming pools
  • All outdoor pitches, including Glan-Y-Don
  • Tennis Courts
  • Athletics Track

What will happen to my Ffit Conwy membership for the length of the fire-break lockdown?

No member will be charged for the period that we are closed. Your next Direct Debit payment will automatically be amended to take into the account the fact that we will be closed for two weeks. You do not need to do anything.  

If you paid upfront for your membership, we will extend your membership by two weeks. Again, you do not need to do anything.
