Our Library and Information Service is constantly developing and working to provide relevant services meeting the needs of our community and to deliver the corporate priority:

“We will develop our libraries into community hubs that provide a wide range of services and activities" (Conwy County Borough Council Corporate Plan 2017-22)

The draft Library and Information Strategy 2021-26 will take an innovative approach to broadening the role of libraries whilst ensuring we make the most efficient use of the limited resources available.

The Strategy will inform the Library and Information Section’s programme of work over the next 5 years.

The actions in the Strategy will be prioritised and detailed work will be undertaken on each proposal before any decisions are made.

The consultation closes on 18 July 2021.
