This two-day course aims to develop practice confidence and competence in completing an AIM3 Assessment with a young person. This training provides the practitioner with skills in analysing harmful sexual behaviour to create profiles of risk and need and develop through case formulation, effective safety plans.

||Targeted Services – Disability Team, Family Support & Intervention, Looked After Children, Vulnerable People Team, Youth Justice ServiceTarget Group - This course is targeted at experienced professionals who are working with adolescents with harmful sexual behaviours (HSB). This includes practitioners in Social Care, Youth Offending and Specialist HSB Providers.
Course aims and objectives:
By the end of the course participants will:
- Have competence in undertaking an AIM3 assessment
- Know the relevant information to collect and collate re HSB
- Be able to analyse the relevant information to develop a profile of the young person, their family and context using the AIM3 model
- Have confidence in developing safety and intervention plans responsive to the AIM3 assessment profile
