Course Content

  • Introduction - The requirements of RISCA-CIW-Social Care Wales- Mandatory registration of the Domiciliary Care/ Residential Care workforce.
  • Introduction to the All Wales Induction Framework
  • Principles and Values Workbook 1 – as a route to registration
  • Explore learning outcomes that require observation of workers practice and provide feedback.
  • Explore a range of methods and techniques to confirm workers competence:
  • Judge whether an answer is sufficient-Measuring Competence

 

Course aims and objectives:

For Managers/seniors to develop the skills and confidence to assess workers practice when supporting new workers to complete the All Wales Induction Framework workbooks.
