Course aims and objectives:
Designed exclusively for those providing care within Domiciliary Care settings, this course will introduce you to the types of tasks you might be expected to carry out and the range of individuals you may come into contact with.
This course also considers the importance of working within professional boundaries and why it is necessary to understand and follow policies and procedures. In addition, it goes on to look at the rights individuals have to take risks in their lives and how the risk assessment can assist to protect them from harm. It also considers the meaning of equal opportunities and diversity.
Course details:
Duration of course: 1 hour including Assessment Quiz
- Watch through each video chapter. You will need to answer the questions within a chapter correctly, then submit your answers at the end of the chapter to complete it.
- Once you have completed all available chapters, you will be able to take the Assessment Quiz and complete the Feedback form.
- A PDF Certification of Completion showing the Learner’s name, date of submission and pass mark can be sent to Managers by request to sc.training@conwy.gov.uk.
Completing the course can count towards evidence needed for Continuing Professional Development for re-registration requirements and contribute towards the underpinning knowledge for All Wales Induction Framework for Health & Social Care and QCF.
