Active Travel Route: Conwy to Parc Caer Seion
Works start: Monday 25 November 2019
Works finish: Friday 6 March 2020 (weather permitting)
Work to improve the footpath from Conwy to Parc Caer Seion will begin on 25 November, as part of our ongoing investment to improve Conwy County’s Active Travel network.
What is happening?
We will be constructing a new shared cycle/pedestrian route between Conwy and Caer Seion Industrial Estate which will also include traffic calming features.
Parking may be restricted at certain times during the works. Please avoid parking by the sections of footpath that the contractor will be working on. This will help us to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Pedestrian access using the existing footpaths between Conwy and Parc Caer Seion will also be restricted. We apologise in advance for the inconvenience this may cause - we will try to keep disruption to a minimum. The new shared cycle/pedestrian route will provide a safer, easier and more direct route into Conwy and will be a long lasting benefit to the community.
Who is doing the work?
The work will be done by our contractors Alun Griffiths Ltd.
