Check your polling card to find where you go to vote
You should soon receive your polling card for the European Election.
Some polling stations in Conwy County Borough have changed this year – so check your polling card to find where you go to vote.
Most polling stations have been replaced with a location nearby, but Conwy’s Electoral Registration Officer is asking voters to double check their polling card in advance to make sure they know where they’re going to cast their vote on Thursday, 23 May 2019.
Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm and all registered electors will be able to cast their vote in person, unless they have registered to vote by post.
Residents have until 23:59hrs on Tuesday, 7 May to register to vote if they are not already on the Electoral Register.
The closing date to apply for a postal vote is Wednesday, 8 May (17:00hrs) and for proxy votes Wednesday, 15 May (17:00hrs).
Registering to vote only takes a few minutes, you just need your National Insurance number.
Register online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or telephone Conwy’s Electoral Services Team on 01492 575570.
