Conwy Archive: Farewell Open Day

Conwy Archive will be moving to a new home in the Conwy Culture Centre next year. We would like to thank the many people who have worked here, volunteered here and supported our work since 1996 by holding a Farewell Open Day on 13 December 2019.

We will have an exhibition of documents relating to the history of the Old Board School that has played such a large part in the lives of so many Llandudno people, along with a display about the new Conwy Culture Centre. There will be opportunities to share memories with staff over a cup of tea or coffee and a cake.

But as many will know, this will not be the end for the Old Board School.  Penderyn are sharing the day with us and will be on hand to talk about their amazing plans for a bright new future for the building.

Our doors will open at 10am and we will be available throughout the day until 4.30pm for visitors to come and remember the past and to imagine the future with us.

There is no need to book, everyone is welcome, but if you would like to contact us to discuss the event you are welcome to do so.  Telephone 01492 577550 or email archifau.archives@conwy.gov.uk
