And finally to wrap up the days competitions, new for this year, the Musicals category with Valley Aloud Community Choir taking first place, Dun Laoghaire Musical & Dramatic Society coming second and The Gallery Choir third.

Audiences were not only entertained by competitions this weekend but also two evening concerts. On Friday local choir Côr Meibion Maelgwn Male Voice Choir, along with Welsh National Opera soprano Fflur Wyn entertained all with a variety of musical genres. And Saturday evening choirs from various competition categories took the opportunity to be on stage in a more relaxed atmosphere, without worrying about the watchful eye of the adjudicators!

“A big thank you to all our sponsors, Llandudno Hospitality Association, Llandudno Town Council, Aberconwy Car and Van Hire, the Belmont Hotel, and Threeways Garage, who’ve all contributed to make this event possible by working with Conwy County Borough Council.”
