Path improvements: Ysguborwen Road to A55 Iron Bridge, Dwygyfylchi

Work starts: Monday 30 November 2020

Work finishes: Friday 5 February 2021 (weather depending)

What is happening?

We are resurfacing the public footpath from Ysguborwen Road to the A55 Iron Bridge behind Puffin Cafe.

We will dig out the footpath surface, put down a weed supressing layer of material, add a stone base and finish off with a tarmac surface.

For public safety, we will also be adding:

  • new fencing between the footpath and the Puffin Cafe car park
  • new fencing between the footpath and the A55 footpath
  • gates to the A55 footpath and the Puffin Cafe car park
  • a ‘kissing gate’ between the footpath and the housing

The footpath will be closed while we carry out this work.

We will aim to keep noise, dust and distruption to a minimum while we carry out this work.

Covid-19

Our contractor will comply with social distancing measures. Please keep your distance from the workers.
