Road closed: Pont Bryn Rhyd yr Arian, Llansannan

Closed from: Friday 21 June 2019

We need to carry out emergency work to Pont Bryn Rhyd yr Arian which means closing the bridge for vehicles and pedestrians. One of the bridge supports has partially collapsed because the river has damaged the foundations.

We know this is an inconvenience but it is important to make sure the bridge is safe.

What is happening?

We will carry out temporary work to stop further damage to the bridge. After this, we will work on repairing the bridge, which may take a few months.

Please use the alternative route of the A544 and B5382.

If you need more information, please contact the Environment, Roads & Facilities Advice Team on erf@conwy.gov.uk or call 01492 575337.

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Thank you for your patience while we carry out this important work.
