Roadworks: Valley Road, Llanfairfechan
Work starts: Monday 8 July 2019
Work finishes: Sunday 13 October 2019
We need to carry out important safety work to strengthen the retaining wall on the Afon Ddu Llanfairfechan, next to Valley Road.
The work will affect the car park on Valley Road (near Nant y Felin Road) and further up Valley Road, opposite Bryn Gro, Ferndown, Vron Heulog and Ciltreflys.
For safety while we do the work, the upper end of Valley Road will be closed to non-essential traffic. There will be access for pedestrians, local traffic and emergency vehicles. We will do our best to keep disruption to a minimum, but there may be long delays during certain work, such as the main excavation and concreting works.
From Monday 8 July 2019 there will be limited spaces in the Valley Road car park. The site area will be fenced off and only the lower section of the car park will be open.
Please do not park on the upper end of the car park (furthest away from Nant Y Felin Road) from Monday 8 July. If we have to remove your parked vehicle, you may have to pay a charge to release it.
Extra car parking spaces will be available on the grass verge above the car park.
If you need more information, please contact the Advice Team at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01492 575337.
We apologise for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience while we carry out this important safety work.
