Welsh Government Cost of Living Support Scheme

Conwy County Borough Council started making the Welsh Government’s £150 Cost of Living Support Scheme payments to residents this week.

Over 24,000 payments have been processed this week and eligible residents who pay Council Tax by Direct Debit will start receiving the payment next week.

For those who don’t pay Council Tax via Direct Debit, the Council anticipates providing a method for them to receive their payment in June.

The payment is being made to residents with properties in Council Tax bands A-D and also to those who were receiving support through the Council Tax Reduction Scheme on 15 February 2022, regardless of the valuation band of the property.
